Baltimore, MD - The Johns Hopkins football team punctuated an outstanding 2014 regular season campaign with a win against McDaniel (1-9) on Saturday, 48-17, at Homewood Field. The win moved the Blue Jays to a perfect 10-0 on the season and they advance to the first round of the Division III playoffs.
They will host NJ's Rowan (7-3) at Homewood at noon on Saturday. The Division III playoffs are comprised of a 32-team single-elimination field. The Blue Jays are 43-1 in their last 44 regular season games, and are ranked sixth in the country. Quarterback Braden Anderson is averaging just under seven yards per carry, has rushed for nine touchdowns, and thrown for another 20.
