Those on the East Coast who stayed up to watch Navy play at San Jose State on Friday night were rewarded with a glimpse at history. Mids' quarterback Keenan Reynolds shattered the all-time mark for rushing touchdowns in a game by a quarterback to lead Navy to a 58-52 triple overtime victory.

The Aztecs' (5-6) signal-caller David Fales was stellar as well. The senior threw for 440 yards and five touchdowns, including a two-yard strike to Kyle Nunn as time expired in regulation. Fales then hit Chandler Jones on the two-point conversion to send the game into overtime, knotted at 38-38.

Reynolds' 25-yard scoring run on Navy's third possession in overtime sealed the win for the Mids. Navy's final regular season game is against Army (3-7) on December 14 in Philadelphia.
