Hall of Fame coaches Vince Lombardi and Tom Landry do not lack for coverage of their storied careers.  Both won multiple NFL titles and are as respected for their approaches to the game as they are for their successes.

Author Ernie Palladino, in his new book Lombardi and Landry, takes the first full-length view of the two titan's common past on the sidelines of the 1950's New York Giants. Landry was the architect of the dominant late 1950's G-Men defense, while Lombardi honed the offensive strategies that would later lead his Green Bay Packer teams to the top of the NFL.

Tom Flynn caught up with Palladino in a recent interview for Carl Bialik's Gelf Magazine.
